Justine Armstrong

Physiotherapist

Justine is an alumna of the University of Toronto and Oxford Brookes University. Before pursuing physiotherapy, she worked as a Registered Kinesiologist, supporting individuals with orthopedic injuries, spinal cord injuries (SCIs), acquired brain injuries (ABIs), and agoraphobia in the community. While overseas, she continued to refine her skills, working with individuals with a variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.

She has a special interest in orthopedic injuries and concussion rehabilitation. She has completed additional training in manual therapy, acupuncture (APTEI), gait assessment ("Gait Happens: Common Presentations of the Foot" and "Functional Gait Assessment Level 1"), and vestibular and concussion rehabilitation (Bernard Tonks' Introductory and Advanced Certificates). In the future, she plans to further her professional education in neurodevelopmental treatment (NDT), hypermobility, and foot and ankle rehabilitation to better support athletes and individuals with hypermobility or connective tissue concerns in doing what they love.

Justine is a Bergin Motion workout enthusiast who enjoys exploring new places through hiking, walking, or running. When she’s not in the clinic, you can find her recharging at her cottage, curled up with a book, or embracing the challenge of a new exercise class.
