Carter graduated from Brock University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Kinesiology and is currently continuing his education at Georgian College in the Massage Therapy program. He initially began training for sports but discovered a passion for working with clients recovering from sports-related injuries. After graduating from Brock, he worked as a certified personal trainer at a gym for 2.5 years, helping clients with strength training, weight loss, and rehabilitation. Carter is a Registered Kinesiologist and aims to obtain dual registration as a Registered Massage Therapist upon graduating in 2026.

In his spare time, Carter enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, playing hockey and golf, and being with friends.
