  • 6 Week Program at Bergin Motion Physiotherapy
  • Ages 8-12 – Tuesdays 6:30PM
  • Ages 13+ Tuesdays 7:45PM

About the Program

Meet your sport and fitness goals with this comprehensive program, appropriate for athletes of all sports and levels. You will go through testing at the start and finish of this program to measure your progress. There will be a focus on proper running mechanics to make you more efficient and faster. You will develop strength and explosiveness with functional movement training that will translate directly to your sport and every day life. All participants will benefit from injury prevention education from a registered physiotherapist, including practical tips to keep you healthy.

About the Coaches

This team has 35 years of experience teaching and coaching athletes of all ages and at all levels of elementary, high school, USports, NCAA, Professional, Para and Master athletes.

Kairy and Sam Loucks are Physical Education/Kinesiology and Exercise Science teachers who have both received numerous awards for Coaching and Teaching Excellence in Ontario. Together they are true specialists having worked with athletes in Football, Basketball, XC/Track and Field, Hockey, Rugby, Lacrosse, Soccer, Wrestling, Baseball, Rowing, Alpine Skiing and Nordic Skiing by testing and developing their speed, power and agility for their specific sports.

Their passion lies in sport/fitness and working with anyone who wants to better themselves to lead a healthy active lifestyle. At the same time they both understand the dedication required to compete at the highest level of sport, with Sam being a former CFL football player, and Kairy a former All Canadian/National Track and Field athlete.

Both Sam and Kairy were inducted into the McMaster Sport Hall of Fame for their achievements and their own three children all competed as Varsity athletes in their sports at university. The two of them working together as a team will motivate any athlete of any level to reach their goals.
